What is the most important question in the world?

Posted on Mar 16th, 2008 by Mare : Seeking Mare
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 15, 2008:

What is our purpose?
How do we love?

Make daily choices closer and closer to alignment with true guidance from the heart.  Let go of all that no longer serves us.  Let us be well and happy and peaceful.  Loving.  These are my highest goals right now.

What is the biggest project you've taken on?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 13, 2008:

In October of 2005, I did a guided Vision Quest--three days fasting alone in the Utah desert--with the intention of healing my relationship with my father.  My belly led me to Thailand, where I discovered VIpassana meditation.  I traveled throughout Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand, ultimately ordaining as a Buddhist nun for 7 months.  I came home for my father's third wedding last September in support.  It feels like we are beginning to relate to one another as adults instead of parent to child.  It feels good.  Last November, I began a novel about my travels, and hopefully this summer, I will travel to Japan to complete the vision quest directive.  What a process this life-healing can be.

I have also undertaken study of A Course In Miracles.  It's my intent to complete the course by my birthday next year (or so...by 30 anyway). I'm on lesson 6 of 365. :)

What is your renaissance?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 16, 2008:

With every breath, I am cleansed and liberated to choose again.  Each moment is a potential renaissance.  Right now, I am putting my energy towards formulating a daily practice that makes sense to me.  That incorporates yoga for the body, meditation for the  mind, and healthy eating and lots of breath to facilitate balance between the two.
